Rife Frequency treatment for Lymphedema

I've been using a lymph program on the rife machine that takes 10 minutes. It has the effect of reducing the swelling in my arm by about 25%, and softens the swollen tissues which have a tendency to become hard. (hardening is a bad development) It also increased the range of motion in that arm by about 70% (which is nice because it was getting difficult to braid my hair or floss) and reduced my pain and discomfort by at least 50%. The effect was noticeable the first day I ran the program. I feel very encouraged by the result.

I worry about infection in that arm because that event would force me to go to the hospital which is a place I don't want to be anywhere near. I've managed that aspect to date by careful observation and immediate action when signs of potential problems appear. Immediate action includes simple things like resting and elevating my arm, drinking more water, potassium soup, and green drinks. I also use the DPL light therapy daily which is supposed to break down the protein in the lymph, thinning it and therefore allowing the fluid better natural movement. (I think I have that right) It seems to me that the Rife lymph frequency program also reduces redness and irritation, so I hope that means it reduces the chance of infection also.

I stick around the house a lot and avoid germy places. For general frequent cleaning of most-used surfaces, I keep a spray bottle of water with white vinegar in it. I don't always wear gloves when I wash dishes (I like the warm water) but always wear gloves around plants and dirt. I'm active and touch a lot of things so I wash my hands a lot but that does cause issues with dryness and irritation. Not sure what the remedy is for that, I use organic sunflower oil for moisturizer since it's a Budwig diet approved oil. It's said "don't put anything on your skin that you wouldn't eat" because essentially you are ingesting that through your skin.

Rife Frequencies & Kombucha Tea

Sunday May 6, 2012

I've been using the Rife frequency machine for about 2 weeks now. It really is amazing. I have to remind myself that it's not a new toy since I have a tendency to experiment. I'd love to say something profoundly serious about the Rife treatment but all I can dredge up is, I think this thing might work, and if it doesn't work, it'll make dying easier since it's great for stopping pain and could also make a lot of random prescription medications unnecessary. The machine I bought is not the best and not the worse but seems to meet the minimum criteria for effectiveness. But learning which frequencies to use, that could take some effort, time, and intuition. There are detailed frequency lists online and cross-reference lists, but there are also different veins of thought as to which protocols are best. The online Rife discussions get downright technical and some people even build their own machine based on certain specifications.

The house we moved into was built in 1940. It has such charm and character and a peacefulness about it. I love hearing birds singing in the crazy overgrown area outside our back fence and we have a multitude of wild blackberry bushes to make jam this summer. As usual my daughter and I have about 15 ongoing projects each so we're always busy. At the end of the day I'm asleep in about 5 minutes.

feeling kind of crafty lately so I made these magnets for my bulletin board

Lucy walking me in the park

another crafty moment caused these sun catchers to appear on our back porch

The Kombucha Tea is wonderful. Here it is in a continuous brew jar. That's an electric seedling heat mat wrapped around to keep it warm so it will keep fermenting.

We're going to plant snap peas along that back fence soon.

I'm working on my Etsy Shop for about 2 hrs a day. It currently generates about 600.00 a month income and allows me to buy organic food and supplements. It's fun and relaxing to work with jewelry findings.

This is the nicest little park to walk in. It also has a frisbee golf course so sometimes a disc unexpectedly flies by.

Humboldt County

My daughter and I are busy unpacking and organizing. The old house is wonderful. It has a serene quality as if all the people who lived here before us were happy and content. The floors are redwood and the kitchen has big sturdy cupboards built to hold bulk food. There is a pink heirloom rose rambler growing above a walkway in the back yard making a little canopy, it'll be loaded with roses in the spring. I made the kitchen curtain out of a 40's era tablecloth, pink with roses, found it in a free pile.

I started a batch of Kombucha tea today.

Dr Tony

I talked to Dr. Tony Jimenez from The Hope4cancer Institute this morning.  He reviewed the medical records I sent him and outlined a one year treatment program for me. After listening to the description of the one year plan, I thought maybe I better start sorting my things to who gets what because one year of treatment might be totally out of my reach. I expected to hear that it would cost $50,000 + and I was thinking that there is no one in this world who values my life more than $50,000, except my children,  and I started looking at the clothes in my closet wondering if I should start getting rid of things to make it easier on my kids. A little panic with the hope.

The first two weeks are at the clinic in Rosarito, Mexico followed by a specific home treatment program with a daily link to the clinic for  the first 6 months at home. All equipment and medicines are supplied. The cost is 28,500.00. About the same as a new car. I don't have 28,500 but I'm still excited and relieved that the cost is not astronomically out of reach,  it's only moderately out of reach.

The treatment protocol will include  BX anti-toxin, Photo-Dynamic Therapy, local & whole body hyperthermia, oxygen therapy, and some others. I'll have to give myself a shot in the rear weekly during the home part. I'll write more about the treatments.

Brad's medical bills for 18 months was about $550,000 (Kaiser) for which he received 18 months of horror treatments and then death. I don't know who benefited from that, but he sure didn't. He died extremely disfigured with lymphedema, unable to eat, essentially he starved until his kidneys failed. Yes, I am still angry about that. I'll probably never quite get over those memories, no matter how many times I'm advised by well-meaning people to "let it go".

I can get a radical mastectomy, radiation, chemotherapy, hospice care and then cremation, all paid for by the State of California. Cost to taxpayers:  somewhere between $350,000 to  $750,000.  But apparently the State of California is pretty broke, and who would benefit from that? I'd die, taxpayers would lose. The corporations that own the hospitals, drugs and medical supplies are the only ones who would do well for themselves, followed by Surgeons and Doctors, and of course the benefit would then trickle down to the hospice & mortuary employees and so on. My body could be viewed as an expendable commodity.  But I'm voting no on that, get yer economy building commodity somewhere else.

Cabbage Poultices

A few weeks ago, lymphedema came to visit my arm, which is still about twice the normal size. I found a light therapy device mentioned on a Lymphedema forum : Pretika Lightsonic ST197. The Pretika  Lightsonic has great reviews for use in Lymphedema, but it's been unavailable/sold out since 2010.  So my daughter Bonnie ordered a red light that seems to have the same specs:  Red Light Therapy  and it'll be here in a few days.

In the meantime I've been reading about Cabbage Poultices, and that's what I'm doing today: mashing an organic cabbage in the vita-mix and making a poultice for my arm. Bonnie says I get carried away experimenting on myself so I'm going to be careful, first cover a very small area for a test run just in case there's an unexpected reaction. Cabbage, who would think, well here goes.

Here's the results: definite but slight improvement. Swelling on my lower arm reduced by about 25%. I think the poultice has some merit but since it takes an entire organic cabbage for one application and no one else who lives in your home will like it (Cabbage has a distinct, lingering essence that lingers in the air for hours, be forewarned) this probably isn't a miracle cure, but, good to know, the cabbage poultice does help to reduce swelling. It would be great for a temporary treatment and on a fully functioning lymphatic system it probably works better.
